How can i turn quicktime videos into a windows format that can play on windows movie maker?
I am reeeeally frustrated right now.
I need to finish a project using windows movie maker, but it keeps saying i cant publish the video if i dont turn the files into a windows format.
I have looked it up and i went to videohelp.com, but i cant find the right converter!
Could you just please give me a direct link to a converter downloader that is FREE?

Windows movie maker does not accept MOV.
To import a MOV into Windows Movie Maker, you need a tool to convert MOV into a format that Windows Movie Maker can recognize ,and then import it to WMM. You can download WinFF, which is one of the best free video converters available. It is very easy to use and you can quickly convert your MOV files to WMV, which is supported by Windows Movie Maker. The steps are as follows:
Step1. Add your MOV files to WinFF.
Step2. Choose “Microsoft” as the format to convert to.
Step3. Make WMV2 Generic as the device preset.
Step4. Click “convert ” to start the file conversion.
After these four steps, you can get a file supported by Windows Movie Maker and enjoy making your home movie.
Or you can just turn to other better movie making software.such as DVD slideshow builder, Abode Premiere etc.

I also searched everywhere because i was looking forward to it but found nothing. My guess is that it will be in the internet after the release of the DVD (5 months after the showing, it’s so far away!! :(( ). ↲
