The film was released somewhere around 1986 and had most popular touching songs by lyricist Gulzar and Music Director R.D. Burman like Mera Kuchh Samaan, Katra Katra, Chhoti Si Kahani Se, Khali Haath Shaam Aayee hai. The performance of Anuradha Patel, Naseeruddin Shah and Rekha was excellent. Does it matter at all where it comes from or if the movie is old enough or anything like that.
Basically is it illegal to download all free movies no matter what? Or is there some moral loop hole?

Yes it is illegal, because the site that’s allowing them to be downloaded for free is illegal. And just because they’re the ones that are allowing it, doesn’t mean that the people partaking in the theft are not responsible. It’s like someone giving you stolen merchandise. You can get in trouble for that.
