Can I get a virus from limewire, even if im not downloading anything?
I just got a new laptop, and learning from my old one i need to be careful when downloading from limewire. But i want to know if i can get viruses or spyware on my computer without even downloading anything. I dont want to destroy my new laptop over some free music or a movie.

program to make movie’s on besides window’s movie maker?
i like to make movies on my computer of pictures or make a movie and put cool effects on it. window’s movie maker is pretty good except some of the effects are kind of boring and old. also, after i publish the movie, the music that i put to it and the picture’s get all messed up and off timing. are there any other free, safe, movie maker’s that i can download to my computer that come with cool effects and that will make good movies? and that i will be able to upload my music from my itunes onto it.
also, is there a way you can add a strobe light effect?

As to the music problem, that won’t happen if you convert the music to WAV. Don’t use MP3.
There are some free effects and transistion on the internet, but nothing elaborate.
I can’t help you with strobe effect.

I need help with a movie maker?
I recently purchased the Windows 7 HP Pavilion dv6 and as awesome of a computer as it is, I HATE (not kidding) Windows Movie Maker Live. I want to go bak to the older version or find a decent movie maker that I can download offline for free. Can anybody help me? I’m about to lose my mind! XD

Dvd video store in .vob files, windows movie maker support wmv files.
If it is not encrypted DVD, you should use a video converter software, please try RZ Video Converter, go into the DVD, drag all .vob files into RZ Video Converter as source, then convert vob files to wmv(wmv2) files, then you can import wmv(wmv2) to your Windows Movie Maker.

Acer Iconia android tablet.?
I was just at walmart and was looking in the electronics, and saw the tablet and I really liked it.I’ve always wanted a iPad but never wanted or couldn’t get the much money. I just have a few questions on it. Can you buy any good apps for free and how to buy priced apps? Can it have more than one Internet page open at a time like the iPad can have like 8 or 9? What else can it do? Download movies? Download music help?!?! I’m a 14 year old guy thanks.

To answer your questions in very general terms:
The Acer comes in 2 varieties of operating systems (in Canada at least): Windows mobile (like Windows 7), and Android. Both operating systems will have an app store available for you to download free and paid app. I have a Motorola XOOM, and so I can speak for the Android app store when I say that the free apps are available for free (no credit card required), whereas the paid app do require a credit card.
The Internet browsers I use (Firefox and Opera) can open multiple web pages at the same time, you just select between them using tabs in the browser. So they are not separate browser pages that you can tile, like in Windows, but they do operate independently, meaning you can click links, and switch between pages, and the browser will load the new pages in the background.
The Android app store, like the Apple app store, will allow you to buy music, movies, books, and of course, app for a price. Because the tablet has a browser, it can access the Internet sites that have free music and video downloads, just like your computer would. Besides legally available items that artists themselves may provide for public use, there are websites that stream music and videos for free (ie. Radio stations, news broadcasters, etc.) Commercial options for streaming video would include products such as Netflix, though many others are out there.
What else can a tablet do? If you visit an app store, you can view the app according to their category of use… Educational, reference, productivity, many, many more, including games! Your tablet can create, input, manipulate, store, and export data, or your next masterpiece. It could (almost) replace a full computer, could remotely control your desktop computer, and is definitely more mobile than a desktop computer.
Research the brand of tablet, the operating system installed on the tablet, and the app store relevant to the tablet before you decide on your final purchase. With access to the Internet, do not be afraid to check out the forum websites for the product you have in mind. You will probably find answers to a lot of your questions there.
