How to legally download and transfer movies to an external hard drive?
I want to download movies and TV shows on to an external hard drive to take it with me when I travel. Is there any LEGAL sites that let you may a monthly rate and download as much shows as you want? I know how to do it illegally but I want to do it all legally so i dont get in any trouble.

Yes and No. It depends on who you ask. It’s all BS anyways. You could battle the rights and wrongs over this all you want to, but I say, if it is made available, I should be able to have it. It’s like Limewire being shut down. Somewhere down the road, the music that you downloaded was originally purchased by someone and then they just let everyone borrow a copy. It’s like if I purchased a movie and my neighbor wanted me to make him a copy. Who cares? I say just get your movies how you can, transfer them, and go on about your business. No one could ever know just by looking at the drive.

Yes it is legal cuz u have to pay and there is a site that is cheaper legal and free! Its megaupload but takes forever to download if free mem and if you pay its pretty fast and legal

Nope. Theirs is the sin for trying to monopolies someone else’s intellectual property for profit. Quite a few of the authors give it away for free on their own websites where you can download their older stuff for free.
It is the industry that is greedy and sinful. It is not a crime to record music or films for personal use. It is only a crime if you are going to publicly broadcast it without paying royalties.
