Since the US Government cracked down on sites like this, lots of people have asked where can they go to get files. The big problem is that just about all these sites are located and/or owned by someone in the USA, which falls under their jurisdiction.

I don’t think these people who have started these sites want to get into more trouble than they already are. That is why most of the sites that used to carry movies are dead links. Basically, they have decided to get legal before the US Government shuts them down for distribution of pirated materials.

From what I understand, many sites have deleted many files. If you ever wanted to know why you had to fill out surveys or register, it’s so that the site owners knew who you were, thereby being able to turn your name in to the US Government to make a case for their immunity.

From what I understand, it’s a class action lawsuit by the movie studios against a lot of sites that were streaming movies. I understand Youtube just recently dumped about 10,000 movies because they don’t want to get in trouble, either.
