Where can I download a program to take pictures from my computer?
I have a laptop that has a built in webcam. I had vista but now I have windows. When I had vista, there was a program that came with the computer to take pictures (the equivalent of photobooth on a mac). Now with windows, I don’t have anything like that. Is there a SAFE program that I can download. It doesn’t have to have any effects or anything, just be able to take pictures.

How safe is it to download off Rapidshare?
Is it safe for my computer, or is their a lot of viruses? I am just looking at downloading movies to put on my Ipod, and maybe a few games and programs.

The straight out truth is that it’s not safe because anyone can upload anything with anything. What I mean is anyone can upload a movie with a virus in it. There is no way to find out if your download has a virus unless well, you download it. So it’s up to you. If you had an anti virus you would not had to worry about those stuff. What is a good high quality dvd to ipod converter?
I have tried so many i want one with no watermark, and that is quick and easy and also FREE. I own an ipod touch 2g so it needs to be 480:320 resolution. I have been trying all day trying to find one but none seem to be working for me. PLEASE HELP!

When I tried to download Windows Movie Maker, it said that the publisher is unknown?
My laptop doesn’t have Windows Movie Maker and I need it, but when I tried to download/install it, it said that the publisher is unknown. My laptop doesn’t have any protection/antispyware/etc, and I was wondering would it still be safe to download it? Or should I wait until I get protection from my computer?
P.S. Would anyone recommend a good, free antivirus, kinda like Norton.

I use avast protection. But go to microsoft download site, and get what you want, most windows come with it. And if it still says punlisher unknown, go ahead and install it if you get it from a good site. Save it to desktop, then install

if i uninstall limewire will the songs from my itunes erase?
are there other better sites than limewire that are free?
for songs and movies/videos.
it makes my computer really slow and i was wondering if i uninstall it will my itunes songs erase? b/c they are saved under limewire on my c drive.an i transferred them to my d drive. will that help?

Yes when you transferred them to you d drive you are ok. That was what I wanted to suggest to you. No need. You already did that.
Limewire normally does not slow down your computer unless of course you are downloading too many songs at the same time. Every download take away part of your internet speed.
So do not download more than 5 at the same time.
Now you can safely uninstall Limewire, I would suggest to do so and install Frostwire instead. Frostwire = Limewire Pro.
What ever you are going to do, either keep limewire or install frostwire, you should go to options and change there the download directory into the name you gave the directory on your d drive, where your songs are stored. Call it for example d:/My Limewire downloads
When you change that in options, all future downloads go automatically to that directory and therefor always safe
