How do I change regular movies to MP4 Files?
I have a movie I want to put on my Ipod touch. Its a DVD. My mom said I need to do a MP4 file. The problem is…..I don’t know how. So can you give me directions? I don’t want to buy the same movie on itunes so yeah.

What is the SAFEST and best way to download music for free? I heard a lot about 4shared…….?
but I never used 4shared to download music before. I used to use LimeWire on my desktop and that worked but I heard a lot of bad reviews on LimeWire containing viruses. I just bought a brand new laptop and I’m trying to be VERY careful not to get any type of virus that will potentially slow down my new laptop. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

If you download copyrighted music for free (downloading from creative commons sites is safe) you’re downloading from other users, and downloading from strangers is inherently dangerous. (Sites that let you direct download music and movies without getting permission from the copyright owner first get shut down in minutes – if the government doesn’t confiscate their computers first.)

how safe is it to download torrent files with utorrent?
just wondering how safe is it?,.. in terms of will any1 get caught using it or is limewire better at downloading movies?

1. Whether you will get caught depends on what country you’re in. In some countries, no-one knows about these things, so you won’t ever get caught.
2. Torrent sites can be dangerous. If in doubt, google the name of the site and find out. The Pirate Bay (www.thepiratebay.org) is relatively safe.
3. All you need to do is be careful. (a) Before you do anything, install a firewall. Install a good anti-virus like Avast. (b) Set the protection to “high,” if you can. You can do so in Avast. (c) When you look at the torrent file, check the comments. If it’s bad, someone will already have posted something about it being bad. (d) After downloading the TORRENT file, scan it with your anti-virus. Then set uTorrent to download the file. (e) After the file you want is downloaded, scan that file with your anti-virus, too.
4. IF THE FILE (movie, or whatever) says that it needs a program to play… DON’T DOWNLOAD the program. Just delete the movie (or whatever). If you try and play it with Windows Media Player and it says it is downloading a security certificate, CLOSE WMP and delete the file.
There… You should be safe. All the world’s doing it, so why shouldn’t you? 🙂
