Are DirectX and Xvid safe to download and use?
A message on some sites say DirectX may harm my computer. No such message appears for Xvid.. I think I need both applications to watch Xvid movies. Neither of these came with my computer, and I’m not sure whether to download them, or not to.

Okay this is easy: just go to frostwire.com, and download the software. Dont worry its free and safe, i use it on my computer. Then when it downloads open it up, and go to search and search for confessions of a shopaholic in the movie category. It might take a while to download but it should work. Also if you have itunes, the movie will automatically go to itunes where you can then put it on your ipod. Frostwire is also good for downloading music and other movies.

Yeah, you can do that at http://www.grabọid.com Unfortunately you will have to download the software because it has the media player in it but, it is completely virus free and safe. Guaranteed. Everyone thinks there are places to just click and watch a movie but honestly, I have not found a legit one yet. This site is totally legit. Have fun with the movie.

One thing to remeMber is that when you begin to watch the film (or any film there) a single popup with ask you if you want to”upgrade your divx player” always always always select “CANCEL”!
You never want to upgrade the divx player. In fact its better to find and older version (7 and under) if you want to have a trouble free viewing experience.

Is YouTube dangerous as far as viruses and spyware?
Long story short… A family friend said that music sharing sights like frost wire (I think that want he said, I never use that but..) and especially YouTube (witch I Love) Are real bad For downloading viruses, spyware, Trojans and other Malware. Has anyone else heard anything like this?

Youtube, hulu and other on demand video are generally safe, they are streaming and do not load executables to your computer. However, be careful of clicking over to other sites from an advertisement in a youtube video.
